Marissa Jezak (b.1992) is an interdisciplinary artist and writer from Detroit, Michigan. She creates visceral forms and experiences that explore social constructions of femininity, intricacies of violence, and the use of art as a coping mechanism. Jezak earned an MFA in sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She has completed residencies at Nave Proyecto, Mother’s Milk, and Kriti Ponor, and her work has been exhibited internationally.
